Wyandotte County Lake - All pictures by Jim Mason Wyandotte County Lake lies at the northwest edge of Kansas City, Kansas, in a setting of hillside oak-hickory woodlands and lakeside sycamores. The 300 acre lake was constructed in the 1930's by the Works Progress Administration.
